Rise Doro Apartments Begin Demolition in Downtown Jax

Update on Rise Doro Apartments in Downtown Jacksonville

Demolition begins on the Rise Doro development in Downtown Jacksonville. The building has been deemed unsafe for entry with the potential for collapse.

The unfortunate incident comes after the new $65 Million luxury multi-family apartment community caught on fire in its finishing phases of development only weeks before the building was scheduled to open with finishing touches and final inspections underway.

The demo is estimated to cost $1 Million and began only a week after the initial incident.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined and investigations are still underway.
